# Çeşme

Cesme is an Aegean peninsula west of Izmir, known for Alacati's stone-paved streets and windsurfing. Alacati Bay is regarded as one of Europe's leading surf spots thanks to its steady, strong wind. Ilica and Altinkum beaches, with their family-friendly shores, are close to the villa areas.

All villas in the region are inspected on site at the start of the season; pool maintenance and cleaning are included in the price. Summer months fill up early around Alacati due to windsurfing and kitesurfing courses.

### Seasonal price ranges

- **Low season** (April – 15 June): The most affordable price range of the year; the wind is not yet steady.
- **Mid season** (16 June – 5 July): Medium intensity, before the school holiday period.
- **High season** (6 July – September): The busiest period of the season; also the best time for windsurfing.
- **Late season** (September – October): As crowds thin out prices fall, while the sea is still warm.
